Super 8 film recording to witness and play with Hazel Meyer’s exhibition and performance at the Western Front (Sep 11 – Oct 24, 2020). Curated by Pablo de Ocampo.

In the fall of 2020, over 4 days, with 11 rolls of film, 3 cameras, a puppet named Marbie, a roll of green stretch wrap, a piece of marble with a perfectly centred hole, and enough ephemera to start an archive, Alysha Seriani and Hazel Meyer came together to work through and with ideas about queer inheritance, legacy and the late experimental filmmaker Joyce Wieland’s work on Super8.
